Assessment of students and pupils
Individual education assessment: an interactive process
to build a educational plan
Based on the study of potential and self-knowledge, the individual education assessment allows students to build a long-term plan, to make a point of their motivations or to go through a difficult period.
The pupil or the student becomes aware of his functionality, capability, behavior and his dominant features, which allows him to choose the track (s) where he is most likely to grow, achieve and therefore succeed.
The fact of focusing on his internal resources allows the youth to regain self-confidence.
Find new academic and professional benchmarks
Establishing an educational plan is to prepare for its future and to restore the benchmarks. By identifying the barriers that will be encountered and the ways to overcome them, we establish a real action plan to achieve the objective(s) that we have set together.
ODIEP deploys a methodology that avoids locking the students in "a narrow category." This approach not only provides a statement, it also opens the doors.
Parents’ active participation is required. They are thus witnesses of how far their child can go and they may accompany him in the implementation of the defined action plan.
For young and also elder students, the dialogue (or mediation) with parents is paramount. Parents are therefore associated with the commitments made by their children.
